I get the whole let's ride Jake today thing, but Sams running the ball before the worst punt of the century might have been helpful.

at least the punter was back there....    :dunno:

Is there any explanation for giving a 10-12 yard cushion on 3 and short? I will never understand that, especially after we got beat twice with it.

That was rough ridin' pathetic.  And not figuring something out on offense in the second half was almost as shitty as being surprised/unprepared on how to handle simple read option.  We let a shitty throwing QB complete easy rough ridin' slants all rough ridin' day long (when we weren't letting Clay run for 7 yards every time he touched it).  Hopefully our stupid rough ridin' coaches get those retards ready for KU's read option or they are going to run all over our ass.  I can't believe we don't have anyone better than Schellenburg or whatever the eff his stupid rough ridin' name is.

We really didn't have anything figured out on offense in the first half, either. OU just blew coverages multiple times.

Also, I wish our receivers were 7ft tall.  They'd have about 10 more catches each game.

I am wondering this same thing.

Also wondered this last year about Barnett when we were playing the #1 passing offense in the country.

Agree completely. Getting down 14-0 was killer. Really poor defense and not finding a way for some offensive balance gave this team no chance.

He's third string. Third stringers typically are pretty bad.

I have a <friend> who was at the game and he said that "SAMs didn't help himself by walking off the field. I saw him do it at least twice. Jogged until he was 5-8 yards from the sideline and then walked from there."

I don't know whether to   :shakesfist:  :sdeek:  :dubious:  :curse:   :bawl:  :bang: or  :shooturmouth:

So many emotions...

Couldn't find it anywhere else... Did anyone else see the guy getting CPR in top 10 rows of section 11 roughly the second drive of the first quarter?  Tons of security, EMT's, what looked to be Dr. CatFans around him.  Shirt cut open and the guy pumping certainly broke several of his ribs.  Everyone in our group seemed to think he likely didnt make it.  Wondering if anyone had more info?

Good news.  Was a pretty scary looking situation the way everyone was rushing around.

i know him and the family and they were told that if it would've happened somewhere else (car, home, etc) that he wouldn't have made it. being inside the stadium with people that could start compressions, defib and across the street from mercy saved his life.

If Waters doesn't adjust his arm angle and continues with his sidearm passes, I promise two INTs.

Got the two INTS right, just didn't happen how I thought they would. I still think any solid D-Line coach watches Water's throw will tell his guys get their arms up on passes.

catzacker, the fence has fallen squarely on the Waters side of the property line even if you don't want to get off of it.

Sams not playing and Waters having a good/bad game only strengthens the fence, my friends.  It’s not going anywhere.

3 terrible quarters + 1 great quarter = Jake had a bad game
