Phoenix is ok. San Antonio is the best of those three cities from a bowl perspective.

I'm OK with any of those venues, although every time I go to, or think about, San Antonio, I remember being there for the Alamo Bowl when we lost to Purdue.

Pinstripe is still available, but we're too good for it (goes to the 7th place team, assuming the Big 12 has 7 eligible teams)

What's the "or" about? Cotton Bowl and TCU's stadium? Didn't TCU host some podunk MWC level bowl for a while?

Texas is now only getting in to the top 25 while being 7-0 in the Big XII. It is doubtful that even the SEC could convince the polls to keep a 4 loss team in the top 25.
