I'd be ok with Baylor losing to UT for the sake of saving Mack's job.

I was cheering for UT tonight for this reason and nobody in the bar was smart enough to do the same.

sounds like you had a lot of PI'n to do

When Briles moves on to something bigger and better, as he most assuredly will, Baylor will sink to its former mediocrity.

Fans are Iowa State south, but with more Baptist.

University prez prosecuted the Prez of the US for getting a blowjob

Student body prez is a giant homophobe

Also, Waco.

Still, TSC.

I mean their team and coaching staff is absolutely lovable for what that's worth.

Your love is misplaced. That said, I have been there before.

I mean this is their version of '98 right now. :dunno: It's not their fault we mumped up last year. I like the validation that they're actually good.

The good news is that A&E and Baylor will both have special spots in hell for what they did to us.   Bad news: Sean Snyder is the devil so hell won't be very good.   (Except the kicking part. That crap will be great.)

It doesn't matter one damn bit if Baylor goes undefeated because there is about a 5% chance that Alabama or FSU lose a game. Ohio State could also go undefeated. It's just not going to happen for them.  And good because eff them.

I think it's probably more likely that all three of those teams lose a game than it is that they all win out.

I don't give a crap if it's "great for the Big 12". Baylor deserves bad things to happen to them forever. eff them.

i'm definitely more of an Art fan than a Bear fan, but since my guy coaches the Bears i gotta like them.  transitive, property.

Art fan too.  Don't necessarily need good things to happen for him, but I am happy for him when they do.  Wish we were smart enough to take him a couple yrs ago.

I'm squarely team #fuckbaylor. If it was UT, OSU, or OU then I'd root for them. But I hate Baylor, and their success is only helping them on the recruiting trail. We don't need more competition there.

So are they paying him 3.4 mill like Patterson or 5.4 mill like Brown or 5.2 mill like Stoops?

Reports surfaced Wednesday evening that Baylor's regents signed off on the deal Wednesday. The Dallas Morning News reports Briles will make more than $4 million next season.

The only Big 12 coaches currently above the $4-million mark are Oklahoma's Bob Stoops and Texas' Mack Brown. Briles also received a contract extension a year ago.

We are so lucky to have Synder, he makes half that and should be paid more than Briles.  He made us over a hundred mill in the past few years.  Like I say, we are very lucky.
