It's still not a big deal. I wouldn't feel any better about K-State football if we had beaten Syracuse in the Pinstripe Bowl. I want to beat somebody good and that can't happen if we don't play somebody good.

To each his own.  To me, playing somebody like Nebraska is better and more exciting for everybody (TV, fans, the bowl itself, the players) than playing Cincy or some other Big East/CUSA retread.

Sorry to break ranks with the cool kids, but I think playing the Nubs would be awesome, and give us a chance to shut their toothless, ugly faces for a good long time (except about the officiating, which they would complain about if they lost).  Nebraska fans in football = KU fans in basketball.

It's hilarious that people think we would actually beat Nebraska, let alone in a bowl game.  Our best win this year is Lafayette.  Oh we suck at bowl games too.

We would probably beat NU by about 65 points. They are worse than any Big 12 team by a considerable margin.
