You'd think the Marines would pick their own hats regardless of who is in the White House. Pretty dumb all around.

All this is great, now obama is trying to make all the the Marines look feminine. His true colors are really coming out and he will probably come out of the closet soon and finally admit he is a homosexual just like that governor years ago.
Do they wear "gender-specific" underwear? If we are going to have gender equality, underwear should also subject to strictures. For that matter, do men have access to non-gender-specific tampons? Can't have that, now can we? The men in the Marine Corps might feel discriminated against.
Rador21 minutes agoThis story is true in that there is an effort to make the uniform work for both sexes and there is a survey open until tomorrow which appears to be focused on the two options of : 1-Both Men and Women wearing a standard man's covering OR 2-Both sexes wearing the smaller Bell Crown style cover. Jim Gray36 minutes agoHeavens no. A Marine is a Marine and not some sissy looking gay boy. I was a Navy Medic stationed with HMM 165. There is a lot of tradition in the Corps and Obama should not be allowed to make any changes. What's next? Will he change the Marine Corps Hymm to "YMCA"? Jim

The cost of switching to a new unisex Marine cap would cost $6.9 million, but a switch towards having female marines wear the male version of the cap would actually save $600,000.
marines say it isn't true. the company that makes the women's hats is stopping production, so they are finding a replacement that is a unisex option.lol @ foxnews
