at my daughters soccer game the other day, her team got slaughtered. i mean absolutely rough ridin' murdered. there are no goalies and stuff so a good team can score a lot. anyways they must have lost like 24-0. i know, right? 24 goals. after the game im talking to my daughter in the car and i asked her what the score was (thinking shes good at math like me) and she said her coach told her the score was a tie.

WTF IS THAT? a rough ridin' tie? lol i said no sweetie your team got mumped on. you lost by over 20 goals, which in soccer, is a lot. she started crying so i called her coach and told him shes quitting the team because hes feeding her lies and wont run them in practice. i wont have my daughter crying in front of me because of some hippie loser soccer coach. he wears crocs to the game. what ever happened to a good pair of boots?

this thread is right on point.  got home from the mill yesterday to find my son and his friend (Miles) playing "basketball" on the driveway.  normally i would be happy to see my son practicing, but to my dismay, the goal was lowered down to 7.5 feet because they wanted to "dunk" on it.  no practicing left handed layups.  no free throw practice.  just flashy, lebron-style "look at me" dunks, on a lowered goal.

i told him that unless he wanted his goal unearthed and sent to his cousin's house, he'd raise it back to 10.00 ft.

going to get a padlock to put on it this weekend.

good for you dlew. i'm not sure i could have remained as rational and calm as you did if i would have driven up to that.

When my daughter played T Ball for the first time everyone got to bat every inning and every player got to run all the way around the bases.  How many outs are there?  None!!  Who's winning?  Everyone is!!!

After the game we can pile in a couple of minivans (seat belts of course) for some Peanut Buster Parfaits!!

My 7-year-old came home with straight A's. I was so proud of her. But then I did some research. Turns out her school gives out A's for anything over 50%. She had a 61% in math, 53% in english, 58% in social studies, and get this, a 51% in PE. PE!! THAT'S PHYSICAL EDUCATION!! HOW LAZY DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO GET A 51%?!?!? But oh no, it's an A, so she has absolutely no motivation to get off of her rear end and do something. I'm truly at a loss of words. Here's the worst part: We tell our kids we'll give them $10 for every A that they get, so I'm out $70 for my kid barely doing half of their work. You can bet your ass Obama will be getting a handwritten letter from me about this little incident.

forgot to mention this earlier, my daughters soccer team is COED. like, boys and girls play on the same team. as if they have the same drive to win and are equal and crap. her school doesnt even offer sewing class until 8th grade as an "elective."

I saw a kid at the mall on Sunday while I was shopping for some new slacks, and this kid couldn't have been more than 14 or 15, and she had a CREDIT CARD! A credit card? Really? Chalk up one more for the "life is easy everything is free" crowd. Needless to say this kid had no manners. No "Thank you" or "Please" was spoken while this spoiled rotten brat bought $200 worth of fashion clothes she probably saw on MTV.

Guess how many vacations I went on as a kid. Two. One was to Dodge City, the other was to the Space Museum in Hutch. My dad saved for years for that. Now every kid in my son's class takes a trip to Cancun for Spring Break.

Careful if you child does go to Cancun.  Mexican drinking age is only 16 (go figure).

I just laughed out loud. (Won't catch me saying LOL).

You "men" who are worried about underage drinking are the problem. In Russell County the drinking age is being tall enough to see over the counter to order. The next generation needs to be trained how to drink Beam and how to handle an 870. Take your liberal protection laws to Massachusetts.

LOL at all you old people talking smack and acting like you are angry when WE ALL KNOW you wouldn't dare padlock Jimmy's bball goal or not let Rick go to cancun with his buds.

Just last night I got home from JV practice and fired up the XBOX360 to play some Big Team Battle with my Clan(Winters kicked me out of his  :shakesfist:) and my mom comes in telling me I need to do some homework or some crap.

I told her to GTFO of my room before I mushed her face in. She made some lame threat about telling my stepdad Tom and taking away the XBOX but I know that she loves me to much to say anything bad about me.

You old farts need to STFU and let us be, not everyone wants to work on the farm or study math.

My step dad Tom tried to take me to the state fair one time.......we made it 20 miles before he turned the car around because I wouldn't stop playing with my phone.

We got home and that idiot tried to take my phone so I whooped his ass. Stupid accountants cant fight worth a dam.

I think the bigger issue is that your daughter is playing soccer.

At my high school all the girl soccer players are total lezzy's. I know this because Jim saw Tina and Stephanie making out by the locker room one time.

You wanna know how I got to school when I was a kid? Rode the bus. No minivan with a TV showing Cars 2 on an endless loop. We weren't even allowed to talk on the bus. Just sit quietly and ride to school. We had manners back then.

We still ride the bus to high school as freshman and sophmores you Darryl.

they're also doing it. like, a lot. at least from what i've read.

THATS ALL THEY DO! They text, sext, text/sext combo, then go to raves and twerk. When we were kids you politely asked a young lady to dance at a mixer. If she said no, you said "thank you for your time" and walked over to the snack table with your head held high. Now if a girl doesn't put out they make a facebook group about her. If one of these kids ever grows up to be president we'll be in a world of trouble.

Looks like old man CF3 is pissed his wife doesn't find him attractive anymore.

Do you know how many Sexts I've gotten this week? TWELVE. 12. I even got one from Jenny who is A SENIOR.

looks like dax and CF3 are best buds now

yup, make-up threads are the best

Well, if he's worried about the youth flash mobbing the white house with their dubbstep raves then yeah, we can get along just fine.

What is this dubstep you speak of?  Also, is it something to rave about?
