Celebrate american heroes that you know in real life
« on: October 12, 2013, 03:50:32 PM »
Our country brings in what 2.5 trillion or so a year, there are approximatly 250 million adult americans, so that is about $10,000 per adult.  Share your stories about the total badass americans you know that year after year send well over their fair share to uncle sam, to feed, cloth, and provide health care to anyone in need.  These badasses are doing Gods work guys.

We're up to about 320 million now, aren't we? So if revenue for fiscal year 2013 is around 2.7 trillion, that's about $8,400 per person.

Problem is, this includes a boatload of corporate tax which is difficult to calculate how much you pay - it's just buried in the price of everything you purchase. I'd estimate I've covered the share of my kids plus at least 5 or 6 freeloaders.

An easier comparison is just federal income tax, receipts estimated to be about 1.2 trillion for FY 2013. That's about $3750 per person.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

We should fill bsfs with 50,000 kansans in need, set up seating for 1000 american badasses on the field, bring them in with intro music and videos, liquor them up like at a charity event and then have them stand up one by one and pledge the number of people they would help, then they could meet the families afterward. We would probably need more people by the time these badasses started out doing each other.
