I'm still kinda shocked that Sams isn't the starter.  He could have run for 300 yards against Texas' defense.  Snyder must have promised Waters the starting job when he was recruiting him.

I don't think you saw our game, tho. He had the majority of the snaps vs Texas in the 1st half, but our coaching staff was too Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) and made it one dimensional with him. No passes. He pretty much started due to snaps, but they (coaching staff) wasted it by not letting him throw to push the D back and never gave him an opp to succeed.

Nothing about this season makes sense. Watching Sams block short side speed options while Waters crumples into a fetal position is going to be the icing on the cake.

The most frustrating thing watching this game is knowing that ISU is better than us. It's becoming more and more likely that we will be lucky to get one more win this season.

McCoy went 26-34 for 314 with 2 TDs last year against us. They also outgained us by 50 yds.  The only difference (and it's something you've pointed to as a major difference between last year and this year ) is that we picked him off twice and they had a terrible muffed punt.

This.  We gave up 24  to them at home last year....if we gave that up this year we still lose.
