No doubt all industries and all peoples (who aren't huge tree huggers) will immediately seek to pollute as much as possible if the EPA were to become a little more realistic in its standards.

I have no evidence to back it up but I feel like companies have in the past and will continue to employ practices that harm the environment in the name of profit.   :dunno:o

Of course they will.

smog was here before we were and will be here long after we are gone.  The arrogance of humans to think they have any role in this planet's workings...

Look at all that job creation!

It was foggy on my way to work this morning. Traffic is terrible when this happens.

Not sure what's funnier- that China has an EPA, or that our EPA is sending them money (borrowed from China).
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

You have a choice Americans:
1) economic prosperity, jobs and a stinky urban center (eg L.A.)
2) economic stagnation, expensive goods and energy, and a stinky urban center (eg L.A.)

Its your decision! :unclesamlookingatyou:

We had better be careful not to piss him off, though. We don't want smog here.

 Seriously though, our EPA should stop sending their EPA money borrowed from China. Reminds of the scene in Christmas Vacation where Clark offers to buy gifts for Eddie's family, and Eddie asks Clark to "get yourself something real nice" too. I bet the Chinese EPA got a good laugh when they received that grant. I hope they built another coal-fired power plan with it.
