Should we be rooting to lose at this point?
« on: September 24, 2013, 12:23:54 AM »
Is LHC Bill Snyder so stubborn that we need the season to go in the shitter before he starts playing the more talented underclassmen? Does Waters have to have a 0 TD 5 INT performance before Bill makes a change? This season isn't going to produce anything meaningful at this point other than developing our roster for next year. Whatever needs to transpire for that to happen, I would be totally cool with, including losing games.

I guess the better question would be, "Is losing games worth getting Sams and some of the younger, more athletic defenders on the field?" I'm incapable of rooting for the Cats to lose, my original post was hyperbolic to a certain extent.

we can still have a good season.

I don't believe that's possible with the current personnel.

Maybe not.

In any event, I guess you can root for K-State to have a bad season and I can root for us to have a good season.  Different strokes.  Takes all kinds.  Etc.

I addressed this above. I am physically incapable of rooting against the Cats. I just wonder if losing games wouldn't be the best outcome when it's all said and done (provided that Bill would make changes to the depth chart). I'll always root for the Cats though, even if Ron Prince becomes our head coach again.

If TSC means I need to root against the Cats, I will do it.  Begrudgingly.

Does college have a new draft I'm not aware of? That would be the only way I could see fans rooting against their team

I will continue to root for America's Team.  I may laugh when the turnoverdeliverysystem.com chucks the ball at a defender or into the turf at the feet of one of our receivers, but it's just so I don't cry.

I think there the net result has hopefully been achieved by letting Texas win.  Dimel/Sean/whoever in the hell keeps deciding to send spazzfalldownturnovermachine.com out on zone read options must realize it was stupid and everyone who watched the Texas game saw it was a huge failure that should have been anticipated.  I mean, Dimel probably wants to work again and I know Sean does so continually trying to jump Snake Canyon on a 85 Honda 110 3-wheeler is not a good path to that goal.

If you are "physically incapable" of rooting against the cats then why did you start a thread about it dumbass?
