I don't take it as the manager goes through drawers, but the manager goes and picks up the suitcase and takes all of them to the bus/airport

It says going to each coach's home and packing his bag.

Into the van? :dunno:

It's a Stanford guy.  He knows the difference between picking up an already packed bag and packing a bag.  He's disgusted because of the packing.  This guy doesn't give a damn about picking up.  It's no big whoop and Stanford guys don't think twice about it.

Guys, like it or not, Bill would ABSOLUTELY think he was being "efficient" by having someone go pack other peoples' clothes for them.  He is definitely "tone def" about interpersonal boundaries between work and personal life, AND obsessive compulsive about work.

It's Bill.  NO way in rough ridin' hell that it's not.

Actually, if it's anyone else but Bill, it makes be disgusted.

I always assumed Bill had a closet full of pleated slacks, cortez', and Cotton Bowl windbreakers.  Seems like the guy who packs for him has a pretty cake job.

Stanford DBO quit his job at K-state by packing Stanford jammies in Bill's bag.

I don't know. we probably wouldn't know about the weird butter stuff if it wasn't for that ancient SI article that every tuck has framed on the wall of their mancave.

A few weird things got out, but those involved 100+ players, coaching staffs, etc. This was just coaches and whoever this equipment manager was; I can see at some point these equipment/operations types getting together and swapping crazy coach stories. This just got out because they asked the Stanford DOFO a question.

I really only see this as a positive. I mean, if you want to pack your own bag, just do it on Thursday and leave it out for the equipment guys to pick up on Friday. If you don't feel like packing and don't mind some equipment guy going through your things, just don't pack. win win.

Who would want some rando in their home packing their luggage for a trip?  eff that for a multitude of reasons least of which is that it's somehow insulting to the equipment guy.  I don't think it's Bill either.  Not very get better every day, sawing woody.  I bet he makes 'em pack fast and light.  Probably has like a carry-on only restriction or something.  Maybe less, bathroom kit only.  Mini-mouthwash, no time to brush.  Deodorant.  Spare pair of white briefs and you're done, get back to work.

Unless this is a recent development, it's not Snyder. My source (HEMIQ) guessed Texas but didn't rule out Prince . . .

shorty probably decided to do this on his own and just told all the coaches that snyder told him to and they believed him because snyder.

I've known student equipment managers and the only weird thing they mentioned was the requirement that a student equipment manager ride in the semi with the uniforms.

Although it does support my theory that Bill is awful at time management.

Also, it wouldn't surprise me if it was any big 12 coach. they're all pretty looney.
