Didn't Case play most of the game against us last yr and seem much better suited to our D than Ash?  Maybe I am remembering some other time that I watched them and Case seemed less inadequate than Ash? 

Anyway, Mack has to be having a huge pity party either that or he is already resigned himself to what is happening/has happened and is in full fledged Welp mode.

Texas is the second worst offense we have faced to date. We could potentially shut them out if Sams plays more snaps and we can control the clock on offense.

Yeah. We need to limit turnovers, too, though. Realistically, a shut out is probably not going to happen because these guys are so bad at defense that Sams is going to have multiple very long runs that really put a dent in our TOP.

Linebackers are much slower to react to a handoff when Sams is in the game because if they make one wrong step, they have probably just given up 7 points.

Case has played us the last two years and was pretty terrible in both.

I think Texas is going to beat us about 35-21 or so.  Sams will play a total of three series in the game hence the predicted 21 points.   After the game Snyder will say Sams should have played more but then he'll play roughly the same amount in our loss to OSU.
