I want Andre Davis to be good.  I'm starting to think he may not be.

I don't remember him playing at all or Judah Jones getting any meaningful opportunities. Seems similar to defense where we have more talented guys on the bench but Snyder just doesn't trust them.
Judah will be this years Sams with Snyder saying he needs to play more as his playing time dwindles  :frown:

Judah probably didn't read a defense right in the film room on Monday.

Waters is a cocksucking Iowa hillbilly that will be lucky to win 6 games this year after our racist staff ran off the best QB we had.  Continue having your circle jerk over a Jake picture at your weekly klan meetings I guess

Hmmm. Apparently drunk felix was ranting about Waters on Twitter last night. Did not entirely remember that, but I stand by every word.

Always.

Sams WAS the dual threat QB we hoped would be. (And more).

How about the throw to Gronk late in the 4th that should have gone for huge yardage?
:adios:

I don't know what that game was all about.  Waters did miss some throws, but I'm a fan, so I'll defend him.  It was an early game, these guys probably had to get up at the butt-crack of dawn after staying in a shitty flood-aggie Motel 6 (the best that Ames has to offer).  I'm just glad he could shake some of that Iowa crap off of him to take care of the game when he really needed to.  Armhair Quarterback wins again.

Pretty good game by Jake.

Of note, Sams only had one game where he rushed for more yards than Jake did yesterday (199 on 30 carries against Baylor).

don't forget his 10 of 22 for 120 yards passing and 1 interception plus the fact we held the ball for almost 40 minutes in that game

Jake was good enough to beat a terrible ISU team yesterday. Nothing more, nothing less. Hubener probably isn't better than Jake, but I do think he might be the better option in short yardage situations.

I take it you didn't watch Huebner run against sfa?

I thought he looked pretty good against SFA. Good enough that I would rather have him attempt a short yardage conversion instead of watching Waters get sketti brained while coming up just short.

He probably already has. If he's not completing passes, we need to let Hubener come in and Klein it up.

Hubener is nothing like Klein, but continue making that point I guess.

Maybe he isn't as durable, but it's not really a big deal if the backup QB gets injured.
