Well, we now know Lois Lerner is a disgraceful political crony who abuse the power of the IRS to suppress conservative political activity in the lead up to the 2012 election. I wonder if she was taking her orders from higher up?

I read somewhere a couple months back that ABC, CBS and NBC had devoted more time to Bridgegate in the first 48 hours after that story broke than on the IRS scandal to that date. No doubt now the coverage is a multiple of 20+

Turns out that DemocRAT Elijah Cummings not only knew about the IRS targeting of conservative groups - he actually participated in it. This is sort of a problem, given that he's the ranking member of the House Oversight Committee investigating the IRS Targeting Scandal, and has repeatedly called for the investigation to be concluded.

The only reason they act with such audacious contempt is that they believe they'll get away with it, and they believe that because the MSM is doing anything it possibly can to ignore this scandal. It is an indictment of the MSM. I think its safe to assume this won't be a page 1 story for the NYT tomorrow.
