Omaha. I like my company and the town. Would recommend.

(I'd respond to this with: "Nebraska tho," if I wasn't in frickin South Dakota.  :bawl: )

Colorado Springs. Still here. Part awesome, part dumpy. Not sure how long I'll live here.

I was in Colorado Springs for a work trip a few years ago. It seemed like it would be really depressing to live there.

It's basically Wichita with mountains and nicer weather. Not sure if it's my cup of tea.

That's a good comparison maybe. It felt like the local military base was bigger and the the town was smaller though.
"How will I recruit to Manhattan? Well, distance. And the proud state of basketball. It start there, and then daily flights to Dallas, because I'm really good at going out. Like top five good. Ask my wife. She wants me to be happy."

Breckenridge.  Was a good move.  Trying to live a few places to experience a lot and know what I am looking for when planting roots somewhere.  Also, moving long distance for work is the easiest way for me to get a raise.

I'm going to stay a couple nights at the Broadmoor for work in the next couple months.  Doubt it will be a weekend, but would pak if so.

There is definitely a lot of military. Good for economy. Decent for college football. Bad for everything else. Town is more compact, but about the same population. From downtown south, it's pretty dumpy. Downtown on north is kinda nice. Manitou is alright.

Chicat- the Broadmoor is excellent. What line of work are you in?

Nothing beats Breck in the fall, IMO.

Started out in Wichita, then finally moved to Denver, which is roughly 1,000,000X better (sorry Ta Town.) Only really down side is that there are too many dudes in Colorado.

As far as Colorado Springs--the northeast section where all the fires and floods are is one of the most beautiful settings of any city on Earth, but it's basically got nothing a young person out of college would want in a city. Unless you're ultra religious and conservative.

Northwest, but yeah, not much of a scene for young grads. Getting slightly better, though.

Dump

Found that job in 4 days after my folks veto'd my "move to MT and be a fishing guide" dream (already had job and lodging squared up)

Left that company fast for fat Olathe stacks

NYC. Almost have to know someone there so you can crash for a few "weeks" before getting your own place. Or just be super fat stacks before you go.

I'm in Denver too.  Also the Menver thing is way blown out of proportion.  Denver has a ratio of 50%/50% men to women.  Same as Wichita and 1% less than KC.
