A little boy was sitting behind me during the NDSU game. Towards the end when the outcome was apparent, he started to cry, and as the NDSU fans became raucous he stuffed his fingers in his ears so he didn't have to hear them. I turned and patted him on the knee and said "hey there, you get tonight to be upset, but that's it. Tomorrow morning is a new day. We'll put this behind us and we'll be back next week to cheer them on just the same as we always do. Go cats."
