The Cats should win, but expect a lower score for the Cats than you might hope.
Both teams play extremely slow paced games (around 65 plays per game) and high TOP (32+ minutes per game) Neither team turns the ball over very much (NDSU had 14 total last year, the Cats had 12). Both teams are good in special teams. NDSU uses a much more traditional scheme on offense, often with double tights and 2 backs, much more like you'd see in a 3A HS football game. But clearly its been effective at their level and they will be up to play us. If the Cats can manage to force some mistakes and get a big lead early, NDSU will have a lot of trouble trying to mount a comeback because they aren't build to score quickly. Keep in mind that K-State has a defense build to stop spread offenses of the Big 12, so NDSU's power running scheme could cause some problems.
