Hawks will never top these imo….

Zero chance of going back to the old-school blue. The school considers the new "KU Blue" to be valuable I.P. and important for branding. It does appear that we may be moving away from the Trajan font, though, meaning that our old fans will have to find something new to bitch about.

I prefer the Buffalo bills blue over the new York Giants blue. Good move.

I'd start using a lighter blue before darker. Do some variations of uniforms similar to the Houston Oilers (top 5 uni's of all time?).

10 years, 5 coaches, 1000 pages, and KU football is back on track! Congrats on a decade of futility finally over.

It all started with winning their spring football game......

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

not only is having 2 primary colors hard enough to make look good, their mistake is choosing the reddest red and the bluest blue possible. it's why ole miss usually looks really good and ku looks like a bunch of clowns.

it's an improvement overall, but football uni's should never have the block text that large above the numbers. always looks way too busy and crammed in, especially on the modern form fitting silhouette. there's a reason most classic uniforms never utilize this. imo texas is the only one that does this and pulls it off, but only because the rest of the uniform is so minimal.

Hard to believe Nebraska is on this list

Them floating to the top of the list would be something else, but I think Rhule gets them thee if not this year, next year.

Looking at nubs' schedule 7 wins is going to be tough, so probably not this year.  I see 3 "for sure" wins for them.

Imagine having 14 straight losing seasons in an era when your athletic department makes $40 million dollars a year just for being a participant in a major conference.

That's kind of amazing

The best part is the selection of their fans who want to point back to our futility u period . . . a time when the combined athletic budget at KU and K-State wouldn't equal Chris Kleiman's or Bill Self's current salary.

A time when schools like OU and Nebraska would hand out 120 football scholarship and blow sunshine up kids ass in Kansas, particularly KC, while recruiting straight over the top of them on the coasts.  Just to keep the kid from going to KU or K-State.

I'm more impressed iwth the "glass half full" optimism in Lawrence after losing 7 of their last 8 games last year.

I kind of dismissed it at first, but Director Goff may be implicated in some of this northwestern stink.

I know this has been a point of paranoia among the message board types, but is there some actual smoke?

Considering the rising number of defendants in various lawsuits (now including Jim Phillips), it's not unreasonable to suggest there's a decent chance the deputy AD overseeing football during a chunk of the hazing period will see his name added to the list at some point.

Plus, there are now allegations of hazing for the volleyball program (which Goff oversaw) and there was already a bunch of issues with the baseball program (which he oversaw), though in the case of baseball, so far, the issues seem to only go back to the recently fired coach (who came on board after Goff left).

Does that count as smoke?

Not in my mind. Not yet. Hopefully not, but we'll see.
