It's reminiscent of zubaz.

Now hear me out.

What if MHK leaned in to zubaz and purple neon

It’s gotta be LED made to look like neon, right?

It almost certainly has to be LED, it'd be a weird thing to splurge on when LEDs are so cheap, versatile, long lasting, and use like hardly any power vs. neon which none of those 4 things but hey maybe we just said eff it. There are also (probably) diffusers (filters) to enhance the look.

On the worst losses experienced by the phog patrons

Too many to pick from so I will go with the most recent KSU 2019.

We finally had a little hope after competing with UT and Tech the past two weeks and thought we could maybe even beat KSU.

I brought the whole family for what looked to be the first sellout in a long time. Of course KU was not prepared and had like 1 ticket scanner at every gate, which created a giant line taking like an hour to get into the stadium. We finally get in, and immediately a bird poops on my phone. I should have known it was all downhill from there.

We get there and realize the sellout is because about half the stadium are KSU fans. We're surrounded by them and we actually have pretty good seats. Then we trot out the ugliest damned uniforms I have ever seen, literal clown suits. Student made bullcrap, and it was an absolute joke. KSU has their traditional unis and loves it. They proceed to come out and punch us in the mouth and run all over us.

Concession lines, well missed a half of quarter of action going to it a halftime. They were out of like everything. Card machines not working ect.

We get assblasted and of course the crowd turns more and more purple. Wabash cannonball takes over the stadium. Just an absolute embarrassment all around. KUAD was just completely unprepared at every facet of the entire GameDay experience ultimately culminating in just an absolute embarrassment of a loss.
I once blew clove smoke in a guy's face that cut in front of me in the line to KJ's.

They were so pumped for that game and many of the KU people I knew were confident.

We absolutely embarrassed them and they haven't won a game since.

Amaze.

What does it look like?

lots of new silver colored metal and limestone that is close to the road. There is a consistent theme/style with baseball and soccer and even to a smaller extent football. it just looks nice and the fact that baseball and soccer are as close to the road as they are probably makes the projects seem/feel bigger.

Holy crap, that's a big change from the usual KSU vibe.  Can't make out what it says in the distance.  Does it say "Loosest Slots in Town?"

Sounds like he should have cut his losses at the phone bird pooping.

I didn't even mind this. Made it feel like a massive game and got a bit of an atmosphere brewing outside the stadium. Really fun day overall.

North campus corridor will add a lot of trees and limestone along the road as well.

It’ll all look damn good soon.

Have any other townies noticed that MHK's streetlights are becoming a touch purple too? If you drive down Juliett at night it has a purple hue.

I was worried it was a very misguided attempt at solidarity with the university or something. Glad it's not.
