This year’s team is Beatty’s best BY FAR. They have shown significant improvement. Kinda lame they fired him this season, in fact.

Pooka Williams is a great get, wetwillie. Winning a game on the road, garbage opponent as it was, is an improvement. Winning 3 games including over TCU (whom they’ve been knocking on the doir of beating for years) is an improvement. Needing a fluke fumble to not beat K-State is an improvement.

Beatty was horrible. They weren't getting better.

They had a few good pieces (particularly at RB), but they've had a few good pieces most years after Mangino. They went 3-9 with a +16 TO margin. Do you know how crazy that is? They didn't have a conference postgame win expectancy of more than 22% the entire conference season. They have no underclassmen Defensive Linemen.

FFS, they lost to Nichols.

He's literally the worst coach in the history of the Big 12 Conference. Weis won two games in three seasons. Some guy named Dave Roberts coached Baylor in '97 & '98. He went 4-18 in two years and 2-14 in conference.

Elite posters grew up and had kids. Some got too turned off by oscar to really continue. K-State football got really boring. Twitter sucks up a lot of the young talent these days. K-State's rivals site is somewhat competent.

Combofanning can only carry so much weight.

Pretty happy feeling at the Lawrence Municipal Airport . . . everybody can back to sleep and they won't have to run up the ol 'lectricity bill turning the landing lights on and off for the dad burn coaching search.

Life in Lawrentucky aka Flyover Country can now go back to its sleepy ways without all the fuss.
