Baylor is in the midst of a rape controversy. k-state is k-state and we saw what happened when snyder retired the first time. Plus they're out in the middle of nowhere. Meanwhile KU has a top basketball program, a great football setting, a new stadium on the horizon, a beautiful town, tons of money and a major metropolitan area right next door.

There's a ton of built in advantages that other schools don't have. There's no reason we shouldn't be one of the top jobs in the conference aside from Texas and OU.

I recently read that Harbaugh has something like a 20 million dollar buyout?  Which if my Wednesday math is correct is roughly 20 times the amount they've managed to put into stadium renovations so far.  I'm not trying to be a Debbie Downer but if they hire him they're going to have to wait another 80 years to renovate.  I think the nice thing to do would be to let them play their home games at BSFS on Fridays.

Don't worry, you're not the only one

It’s a beautiful dream. Harbaugh gets ran out of Michigan, our new and improved AD goes and gets him at a reasonable price. He turns the program around while we come up with new renditions and renovate the stadium into a damn chapel fit for the football gods. After we get back on track, Andy Reid retires and Harbaugh takes over the job and is an immense success. We hire his brother and keep rolling on and the Lawrence/KC football connection is all the rage in National News... They sell beer in our new epic stadium and we become the cheerleading Mecca that USC is... Anybody want to add to this fantasy?
