Sounds like they'll probably complete their new indoor facility and a few small upgrades to the non-revy geny sports stuff, but after that I have serious doubts they can raise the money to do anything with the actual stadium until the program is on the up and up.

Some are hoping it happens - if it helps get Cheyenne Zulu fired.  One noted KU fans should help to that end.

Maybe they should just trying burning down their stadium.  Best thing that could happen to that program.  Not sure if it will burn, tho.

This is an attractive job. With the right amount of money, we could get just about anyone in the country to come polish us up for a few years.

A school without a football program was in the national title game last year, and the year before an FCS school won the whole thing. WSU has a strong program. Football is not a pre-requisite for success in basketball.

Now, we would have to give up Big XII membership, and (perhaps more importantly) give up any dream of Big Ten membership. Those factors (and the money involved) strongly support fixing the program over ending it. But talk of ending football is not completely insane after what we've seen the last few years.

Just end it all and be a basketball only school.

KU is absolutely playing this right. They have effectively given up on FB by hiring someone who has no business being a HC for a steep discount. Just keep collecting that paycheck.

It’s a beautiful dream. Harbaugh gets ran out of Michigan, our new and improved AD goes and gets him at a reasonable price. He turns the program around while we come up with new renditions and renovate the stadium into a damn chapel fit for the football gods. After we get back on track, Andy Reid retires and Harbaugh takes over the job and is an immense success. We hire his brother and keep rolling on and the Lawrence/KC football connection is all the rage in National News... They sell beer in our new epic stadium and we become the cheerleading Mecca that USC is... Anybody want to add to this fantasy?

Yup. I mean, I'm pretty sure they'll be making something like $39-46 mill for being in the Big 12 this year.
