Carter Stanley. Actually played pretty well for them. Best QB on their roster.

I think both Cozart and Willis have/had some decent unrealized potential because KU coaches.
I once blew clove smoke in a guy's face that cut in front of me in the line to KJ's.

My observation after the KU game:  Carter Stanley can't throw over a dwarf.

Sometimes I think that KU football might not be hurting anymore, but then I see this thread bumped, and I click on it, and I read the posts, and I see that KU football is indeed still hurting.

Out of those three, Stanley is 10x better. That's not saying a lot, but he's definitely serviceable. Looked really good vs ISU.

KU coaches seem to actively stunt QB growth.  Willis, Cozart, and probably Stanley looked their best as Freshman.  If a coach didn't work with them at all you would expect them to improve with experience but they generally get worse.  Really mindblowing.

I thought ol' Stanley Steemer showed good durability during his outing vs the Cats.

Yeah, he was very tough, probably the toughest qb we've played the past couple of years.

I mean, he had more passing yards to our defense than his offense, but yeah, he finished the game.  :dunno:

But like, aren't all of Barnes issues tied back to that little DB that lit him up? (Hurt him, rehabbing and hurt himself again, made about the workout plan, etc.)

I think so.  Once ku realized they had no prayer against even our second team, they got dirty
