He isn't working on the project directly, but those in his department that are say the designs for the renovations/restructuring are done.

They have been passed on to KUAC and are now being run past the big $$$ donors.

Assuming they get a passing grade, it should be unveiled to the public soon.

He guessed 3-6 months before they're public, but no idea what the time frame would be for actually breaking ground on the project.

No, that wasn't even a quote by Miller. That was Sam Mellinger writing it in a way to make you think Miller said it. Mellinger graduated from KU, so he has a bias here.
