It sounds messed up but its almost certainly true. They were 14 point favorites on the road against KU. I haven't checked, but they probably aren't favored by as much against Bowling Green.

So the Memphis coach basically called KU a warmup game. I'm starting to fear KU wants to be this bad at football so that other FBS schools start bidding to play them to get easy wins.

I mean, KU could be looking at a $500k - $2 million payday for each non conference game. Combine that with the stadium neglect and their head FB coach's salary and it is pretty obvious what is going on here, which is totally sandbagging the Big 12.

Cheyenne Zulu is a visionary.  Usually when a P5 school sucks it obviously provides them with no additional benefit.  He has them so bad they could potentially turn that suckage into a new revenue stream.
