Is beems arguing that ku is better than kstate at football, because that's Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!).
Here's how a reasonable persons would handicap it:
Players - Cats
Staff - Cats
Facilities - Cats
Here's how an enraged lunatic would handicap it:
Subjective impression of topography in the immediate vicinity - beaks
Intangible and conjectural potential ceiling of the program if everything were to go perfectly right - beaks
2015 nfl udfa's - beaks
Am I missing something?
That's not quite what he's arguing. Out of morbid curiosity I decided to go over to the Phog and look for the thread in question. His argument is that KU had more NFL talent than KSU because of the results of the 2015 draft. While I will concede 3 is a bigger number than 2, it is pretty ridiculous to compare the NFL talent level of Team A to Team B based on one draft class.
Another real gem was where someone (maybe Beems, maybe someone else, don't really care) tried to count Jake Heaps as a KU player in their list of UDFAs.
Yeah, thats like counting the spring game as a win.
To be entirely accurate about which 2014 team had more "NFL talent" on it, we will really have to wait for four more NFL Drafts. Beems' only legitimate point in this discussion is "KU had more players drafted in 2015." That is without argument.
Now, let's hold this until May 2019 in order to accurately evaluate this premise of his statement.
Also, I honestly don't know which 3 KU players got drafted, but were they Turner recruits or Charlie recruits? Or maybe a leftover Fat Man recruit?
