with the track gone and renovations right around the corner, beatty is in prime position to turn this thing around. the emergence of baylor from doormat to big 12 champs is the blueprint that im sure beatty is preaching. now the only thing to do is go out and prove it. the question is, can he do that standing in a hole 6 feet under the doormat?

Hell, an average of 5 wins over 5 years would be huge. You have to assume he will be well under 5 his first 2 years so that would show pretty solid improvement.

Clearly Dawson is pretty good based on the two turnarounds he has been a part of in the great state of KS that were greatly aided by him turning DITRs into all conference types.

Watched Wiggins in a game a couple of weeks ago, wow! Night and day difference between his level of play now vs. last year at KU. Great player. Getting out of Lawrence was the best thing that ever happened to him. Made me wonder why he couldn't realize his potential under Massa Seff.
