I think ku is holding their own here.. Not to shabby

Their defense looks solid, but like last season the garbage offense is going to keep the D on the field and wear them out.

I think their defense just looks solid next to to their offense.  It still one of the worst defenses in the big 12.  A true freshman rb went for 245 yards on them with just 12 carries today.

What do we make of this group? Are they dumb or is Charlie so smooth with them that they buy in to all the smoke he has been blowing up their asses? Tait, Keegan, Newell, Dodd, Kirby on the Slant, etc., all of these guys have pumped way too much sunshine contrary to what the on field results have been. We all complain about Clinkscale sucking on Keitzman's crank when he is skeptical about KU football, turns out he's been more accurate than anyone else.

These guys need to start hitting hard, from Zenger down. I think we're just dealing with a bunch of nice guys who don't want to step on any toes and as a result we all end up with a false sense of optimism.

I did the same thing this morning and I am full of TSC-sympathy for them.

The Jimbo Fisher line was a new one on me. I had never seen that before.   My favorite though, is how no one was ever a fan of the Weis hire. The delusion and denial are strong over there.

I thought Malzahn was actually an option a couple years ago. Thought he interviewed. Maybe not.

We've done all we can do for them, I'm afraid. Gave them LHCBS/Stoops trained up Mangino, three years of Ron Prince to help him get better established and football focused AD. And what do they do? And they never learn -- I mean they are calling for Zenger's head, like it's his fault Weis can't attract power-five recruits to that shithole despite the Superbowl ring bling.

No more TSC for me. This calls for tough love. I'm done pretending it doesn't hurt when they embarrass the entire conference again and again. Overtures to BYU as a replacement should start at once.

Want to take a crack at this one, Dax?

Can Zenger and KU football borrow about $75 million from the KU Endowment to renovate the stadium? That would let any conference involved in the next BCS realignment know that KU football is getting serious. Then KU football can raise money over time to pay off the endowment association. Use various fees, ticket sales, donations etc to pay off the loan.

I think if KU renovates the stadium that should help with recruits and keeping a good coach.

If this money can be borrowed renovations should start December 15th of this year.

Who cares about lousy football the next couple seasons if a beautiful renovated stadium is being built.
