When a contractor is donating $500k of time and labor, you can bet the actual cost to said contractor is more like $20k of labor and about $20k of lost/damaged material on the inventory sheet.

Nothing wrong with GIK's, but a few years back K-State got a nice GIK from Bayer Stone and Phogistan was quite adamant that when ku does something they're laying out cold hard cash.
