Didn't they have like 3 really good backs just a year or two ago?   Graduation?

This is actually a blessing in disguise.  There's a real silver lining to this situation.  Right? Tait? Anybody???  :ohno:

I think he's petitioning to be moved to punter, though.

Should add some speed on those fake punt plays

hmm...I guess I'll be the one to ask the question that everyone is avoiding.  did these injuries occur in practice- or, as I believe to be the case, were the two young men hurt during some sort of sadistic gang initiation?

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

i saw a documentary about gangs on HBO, and they said there are only two ways to enter a gang, you either get beat in or sexed in.  do you think maybe the sexed in part ties back to the horrible sexual assault problem in lawrence because victims of sexual abuse are way more likely to be sexual abusers themselves.  a terrible red/yellow/blue circle  :frown:

does KU even win 2 games now?

Maybe. Southeast Missouri State and Central Michigan are on their schedule. Those games are their only hope for wins.

Sims completes eligibility, Cox injured, Bourbon injured, Miller gone off campus, Wrench can't get on campus...and we're still 2+ weeks from our first kickoff...you just can't make this up.

They should have gotten the hint when K-State backed off on Wrench.  I feel bad for the injured kids though, that sucks.  They are going to have to pass quite a bit.  Could be a chance for the woman beater to shine.

this shouldn't matter. charlie weis is known for airing it out and really all he needs a RB to do is pass block. I'm sure he's got one of his stable of gunslingers ready to drop bombs on DBs.

Cozart is going to fling the ball around all season.  I agree, they should be fine.

You've got to think there is some kid buried on a depth chart somewhere that is considering a quick transfer to play now.  Is that still an option?

If you want to play running back in the CFL, KU can give you the tools to get there.
