I've been staying out of this (I like beems), and plan to do so going forward, but the fact that beems puts these threads (which easily catch so many of you) in the football thread is telling. He knows you guys don't give a crap about basketball, clearly. I mean, the football board should be a ghost town right now, but it's not, is it.

I feel like i've been hanging around this board a while now, but i've never truly experienced it until witnessing a grown man meltdown in the caliber and fashion that i witnessed yesterday.

For the record, it reminded me of the first BBS i ever posted on... friends threw it up on some low bandwidth hosted site for some friends to dick around on, in high school. No common cause, just 17 and 18 year old guys shooting the crap... Some 15/16 year old girls that one or more of the posters had had one or more sloppy high school encounters with started posting at some point. I forget what great offense they were outraged about but at one point i witnessed the same move pulled by they, as some kind of passive aggressive cry for help, and beems just reminded me of that fond memory.

My older sister recorded it back then and I recently came across it in a box of old tapes. I scanned through it and watched parts of it.
