and that is one of their better players who has been on the team awhile. I can't imagine how demoralizing it must be for an out of stater fighting for a spot on a team, especially if you haven't even experienced a win.

The coaches keep changing, the fans don't show up, your stadium is supposedly getting updated- but who knows if it really will.

Sounds awful.

1) Warmack is better.
2) He must have grown up a life long KU fan or something because KU can't get anyone right now.  Their class is shaping up to be pretty awful.

Don't forget they also have the best "stable" of RBs in the conference!

Sims scored the thrilling touchdown three years ago. Since then, he’s carried the ball 612 times. He’s been hit, over and over. He limps, favoring his left leg. He has bruises and cuts on his arms. He hasn’t won a conference game since that day. And he has three attempts left, including this Saturday’s game against West Virginia.
“It’s crazy to look at it like that,” Sims said. “But that’s the reality. That’s the truth.”
The realizations are frustrating for a player who didn’t ask for any of this when he committed to KU. In fact, when Sims first arrived in Lawrence, he wanted to leave. He had never consistently been this far away from his home in Irving, Texas. Sims never thought he would graduate from KU. He called his mom nearly every day about wanting to leave. Her message: Stick it out.
Since his freshman year, Sims has been a high point during a low period for KU football. It hasn’t resulted in many wins. It’s resulted in bruises. It’s advertised in limps.
“I take a pounding,” Sims said. “I’m pretty sore. I feel like (my health isn’t) going to get any better than what I am right now, so I might as well finish out my last year.”

Where'd you get this fun muffin?

Just put 5 $100 bills in an envelope, wrote "Landon" on it and set it aside in case K-state loses to ku.

I don't think this got the love it deserved.

I think ku's best chances of winning come in the next 3 weeks.   They're either going to be completely out of their mind against us, or it will be over by halftime.

FYI ku is telling the Regents and the Regents planning and facilities office that it will be FY 2017 before work begins on Memorial Stadium.

There is no reason to play such high stakes.  It is a gentleman's bet between gentlemen who always pay off their bets (or everyone would think they were the worst kind of loser ever).

Guys, money really isn't the thing here anyway.  I mean, great for you guys and your one extra pair of completely normal daily shoes and stuff, but the entire board is going to benefit in non financial ways.  :Woot:

I think the winner should give the money to that Sims fella.. Doesn't really matter when because there really aren't any wins that the NCAA could take away but that kid deserves something  :frown:

So really work doesn't actually start until 2018

Will they still be allowed to play football by then? Can Texas and the Big 12 just mercy kill them?

It is just absurd in these times when everyone is improving everything with all this new TV money they can't even get the funds together for another 5 years.
