So apparently Motell Cozart is Boise State's QB now.  They lost to #20 Washington St. 47-44.  Cozart had 161 yards passing with 2TD and an INT.  He also had 72 yards rushing and 1 TD.  I feel like KU would have taken that performance this weekend.

KU doesn't have the coaching staff to get that sort of performance.

Guys, I think Central Michigan might be pretty good. :dunno:

Sincerely,
Rhode Island

P.S. Stony Brook might be pretty good too.

Stony Brook had Charlie's Bulls on the ropes in week 1 guys.

My look at comparative scores still says CMU is solid. Beatty has nothing to be ashamed of here.

I think everyone agrees that the better program won

He was so bad. He'd make the occasional decent play then four terrible ones, he looked like a 2004-05 K-State quarterback.

Ask them about the 'cats and they say that Snyder is one in a million and nobody else will never be successful after he leaves.

Ask them about their own program and KSU was just as bad once so KU simply needs to find their Snyder.

28-83 overall since '07, 10-69 in conference play.

I'd like to think even Sean Snyder could do better than that.

i am actually surprised by those numbers, 28 wins seems like a lot.  probably a pretty impressive list of notches on that Pass/Catch/Block/Run-Schematic Advantage-#EarnIt belt

KU should and would drop football if it didn't hurt their P5 stance.  If they could stay in the Big 12 without football, I can only assume they would strongly consider it at this point.

Well it does include Mangino's last 2 years.

Where it fell off a cliff immediately was in conference play.  After the OB, Mangino was 5-11 in conference.

You guys. That QB that played for Central Michigan Saturday is the same QB K-State beat by 9 million points in the Buffalo Wild Wings bowl back in like 2008.

Seriously.

They've dropped to 55th (8th in new logo), with a 5 star and a 4 star. As soon as those two decommit, they'll be waaaaaay down there.

Hell, if Iowa State can be competitive, why in the name of Zeus' butthole can't we? But we've had this conversation, year after year, coach after coach. We've tried to rationalize each decision, speculated on what route to take next, and then take things back to the drawing board. Rinse and repeat.

My friends and family think I'm crazy for continuing to follow and support this hot garbage, and I'm getting to the point where I really can't defend it anymore. I've never been more embarrassed as a fan and a KU alum than I was on Saturday.

The season is over by all accounts.

Probably

I would not be so sure. Did Turner Gill ever beat Baylor while at KU? Seems like Liberty University is better built for success.
