Only 40 something I ever see dressed head to toe in school colors is dobberette's old soccer coach. Had KU everything. I gave him crap about it, then he pulled a KU hammer out of his Hummer and bragged about that (the hammer), so I just let it go after that.
There were plenty of warning signs from him prior to me agreeing to be the assistant coach. I have a lot of stories I could have told about him, but it just wasn't worth it.

Is this the coach that fired his staff mid youth soccer season?

Keep in mind most of these rubes have nothing else to live for. They've wasted their time and money at a tier 3 school and their income and career show it, all for the sake of a slightly more than mediocre football team. They're all-in at this point and want you to know it. Pathetic.

And being singularly obsessed over a basketball team from the same "tier" school is any better?

I guess he didn't see the recent study that shows a degree from KSU is a better value and results in higher paying jobs than the university he/she is a fan (and possibly graduate) of.

What's worse, he posts on a message board criticizing someone else.  Who's a rube and pathetic now?

Also, they turned down Lockett from attending there, apparently.

Dr. J is the first one to chime in, as always. I seriously wonder what happened to that dude. He's on another level.

Yes. I remained pretty respectable by bbs standards during that time. Pretty wtf, but also, not too surprising.

"gill turned tyler lockett down"

also, it never ceases to amaze me how much BITB is in their heads. (in their defense, he's in the heads of all of GPC also. that's why he's BITB.)

Yup. Lockett has Dante Hall written all over him. Five years as a good PR/KR and then fizzles out of the league. But, yeah, by all means compare him to one of the greatest RBs of all time.

Some one needs to point out to them that Sproles had a better college career than Sayers. The numbers really favor Sproles and team success . . .

Leave it to KU fans to compare Gale Sayers to the NFL Single Season Yards leader, lol

But if Sayers had modern science and with his high level of income, it's not crazy to think he likely would have come back stronger and shattered Jim Brown's All-Purpose yards.. and live to be 245, maybe 300.

Why are KU fans so butthurt over an innocent coincidence of stats of a K-State PR/KR/WR and a former KU RB?  Jeez...

Working to his advantage, Sayers never had the wear and tear of a playoff game because he was a showboat and not a team player
