 :sdeek:

Enjoyed SVP shitting on Lawrence for being so hard to get to the other night on SC.. Something along the lines of, "We only go once cause it's like 3 flights and a ridiculous bus ride just to get to that town."

Figured those hayseeds would have a butthurt thread about it over there.

Do K-State fans really "go on and on" about the Decade of Dominance?

I mean, I realize it's something to complain about when the only slogans you have left are:  It can't get any worse.   We can't even say we suck less.   Things of that ilk.

not nearly enough imo

Serious question: does the outcome of the WVU game even matter or has the phog already determined we went 5-7 this year no matter what?

Isn't that funny? I mean we will def lose tomorrow, but they already talk about it as if 5-7 is in the past tense. So butthurt

To be fair, though, they did determine that they would be 0-12 before any of those games were played.

Do you think Snyder includes a note that says please make sure this gets in the media? Snyder has never been perfect and has made a number of bad decisions in his time, but are we so cynical that even this simple gesture is looked upon with destain? Imagine if Bill Self did this? He would be the classiest coach ever blah blah blah.

Take it for what it is and move on

I guess I just don't trust it. Remember, this is a man who has made a living off beating the living crap out of us for the better part of three decades. He has shown little to no respect for KU. Forgive me if I'm somewhat skeptical of any indication of integrity towards our program.

An earlier poster was right....it seems patronizing to me at this point

Reuben don't know how to break it to you but just about everyone in the Big 12 has made a living beating the crap out of KU not just old balls!

Baylor 3-9
KSU 4-15
OU 2-10
OSU 1-11
TCU 0-4
Tex 0-13
Tech 1-11
WVU 1-3

KU vs KSU = 65-42. Keep choppin wood kids ... a couple of more Ancient Ball type hires and you might even this baby out someday. I won't be in your lifetimes, but possibly your grandchildren.

Dear High School Football Star,

Yes K-State pounded us another new one last weekend for the seventh straight year and 20th time in the last 24 years and yes they do have more conference victories in Memorial stadium than we do the last seven years and yes our last conference road win was when you were a fourth or fifth grader!

But listen to me closely were you aware that from 1902 to 1923 KU was 17-1-3! What's you think about that pretty impressive wouldn't you say? Think about it son 17-1-3!

And to top it off during the 1940s we won 9 out of 10?

Don't let them tell you about the last 25 years, nobody cares about that! 1902-1923 is what matters son!

Sincerely, David Beaty

Bill self has always ran up the score vs KSU.

And when he could, so did Mangino.

I'm glad we beat WVU and will likely go to the Liberty Bowl, but the KU gems thread would have been pretty great if we lost.

agreed. Sometimes it's just best to get away from a toxic environment.
Sometimes I think of the Book of Job and how God likes to really eff with people.

We have a tailgate culture at KU.  Only difference between KU and Alabama is at Alabama, fans leave the tailgate to go watch the game at kick-off and don't return until the game is over.

Were you guys aware of how awesome KU's tailgate culture is?  On par with Alabama, and most certainly better than KSU I'm guessing.

Yes it is.

Just quit being a fan of sports if this is ever something you want to complain about unless you are talking about kids 14 or younger.

Last year I went to Lawrence for a FB game with a few KU buds of mine, we stopped at Wendy's and got cheeseburgers, drove to some run down house, parked in their front lawn, and ate our Wendy's there. It was embarrassing. It looked like everyone around us did something similar.

So, yeah, great tailgate culture there.
