We're gonna have to play half court when we play them, right?

Apparently the machine gunners manning the Atlantic Wall up in the Albert Speer designed press box fell asleep.

I'm sure security was probably there, but based on the typical crowd and atmosphere just assumed there was a game going on at the time.

I like thinking that they are probably practicing tonight for the UT game Saturday and there is no goal post on one end of the field.

did they dumb the 'posts in that sewage pond on campus or is that a sacred place reserved for Iowa State wins only?

guys i dont think we are giving this the attention it truly deserves.  they seem to think it is perfectly acceptable to vandalize university property and knock over a bunch of porta-pottys for winning a world series, which has 0% to do with ku football in any way.  yet the entire world is coming to an end if one of their players gets gently tapped.  i just dont understand their logic, i mean their football team is already going to go winless this year and they are tearing down goalposts on top of that?  i mean that seems very disrespectful, david is just trying to do his job and he comes in this morning and his goalpost is gone and soggy in a lake.  i mean, i just dont even.

How do you even play half court football?  I mean, when we intercept it, do we have to take it back past the 40 before turning and running it back toward the endzone?

http://totalfratmove.com/ku-students-break-into-football-stadium-tear-down-goal-posts-to-celebrate-the-royals-world-series-win/

Even the dudes over at the TFM site think KU's stadium is pud.

"In response to this act of jubilant vandalism, the KU administration was probably all for leaving the goal posts down and abandoning the stadium entirely until it was condemned by the fire marshal and demolished. Have you guys seen KU’s football stadium, by the way? It’s a disgrace to college athletics. Most high school teams in Texas play in better-kept venues — and at least fans show up to those games."

Did it say anything about the setting?

Who would have thought removing the track would be more affordable than removing the goal posts.  It's all in the drawings, big donors are lining up

They've done thousands of dollars in damage to their stadium and endangered lives ripping the goalposts down into throngs of people on multiple occasions.  Not to mention the additional costs of fishing goalposts out of that storm water retention pond.

But no one cares...it's KU football.

KU is going to file a claim with their insurer but instead of fixing the fence they're going to leave it all jacked up and just pocket the $10k check.

And the endowment gets a little bit larger!

With "couch cushion money" and drawings ready to go, I'm just hopeful that they hadn't let the insurance lapse.

Guys over the last few years the University of Kansas has showed blatant disrespect for the big 12 code of conduct.  I mean everything from threatening to call INS on citizens of this country to their basketball coach taking shots at us in promotional videos.  I just don't think it's safe to send our student athletes into that death trap, especially when they cause thousands of dollars with of damage to their facilities.  I mean there must have been thousands there to take down their goalposts or mechanical help, like a lifted truck most of those farmer types use on their "spread."  Where was the security or police in all of this?  Just scary...

Gotta prioritize. Lawrence is an incredibly dangerous place for women. I think allowing some stadium vandalism is acceptable if it means more police securing the campus grounds.

A little chicken winging . . . total KU fanbase meltdown.

Thousands upon thousands of dollars in property damage, pulling steel goalposts down into crowds of bystanders on multiple occasions, vandalism, facilities services costs because of vandalism.   The list is nearly endless at this juncture.   :crickets

Hypocrisy:  Thy name is KU

I blame this on Clint Bowen and the Defense not being able to stop anyone from getting in the endzone.
