Briles' worst nightmare is ever having to compete with Kansas for recruits in Texas. He's benefitted from the idocracy at Texas (and OU), and he'll ride that wave as long as possible.

If OU and Texas return to power, and we return to some semblance of respectability, we'll be battling Briles heavily on the recruiting trail. And Beatty is better salesman than Briles, based on their recruiting battles when Beaty was in College Station

The SEC and Big Ten are just chomping at the bit to get this Jayhawk team into their conference. The only question is who will come up with the best new stadium design to woo the belle of the ball? My bet is on that Big Ten money.

Guys Snyder I had so many breaks. The Big 8 only won or played for 5 National Titles during Snyder's first 6 seasons. It was soooo much easier back then.

Radio broadcast update:
- David and Bob really like this crop of freshman. Good players. But right now it's not even jv v varsity, it's freshman team v varsity. In 2 or 3 years watchout.

- Baylor has an unfair advantage because they could only bring 85 or so players.

they will be forced to play 1st and 2nd stringers all game.

- run game needs to improve
