even though we lost all 3 times in 2010 to ku in basketball, I can co that having a Dillon's game between 2 good teams is better than between 2 not good teams or 1 good team and 1 bad team.

I think in year 3 of Beatty we will be very, very scared of the monster he built. He is obviously an amazing judge of talent and while he may not get the 4 and 5 stars out of Texas he will get the guys that every other program overlooked and build a great football team. Our only hope is that Sumlin goes to the NFL and Beatty goes back to Texas A&M, but by then KU's program may overshadow A&M and it won't be as appealing of a job.

agreed on all counts. hypothetically, ku football is not hurting. in fact, ku football is a hypothetical monster.

Both Chris Harris and Aqib Talib were pro-bowlers this year. So was Darrell Stuckey. Heeney and Shepherd have both been invited to the NFL combine and will get drafted this year as well. But yeah.

I was pretty much just trolling when it came to Weis. In my heart, I knew he would fail at KU. Obviously I was wrong about Gill and could be wrong about Beaty. We'll see.

It has created a solid pipeline of former KU DB's who are in the NFL now. Recruits like that kind of thing. I also just enjoy watching former players succeed in the NFL. Do you not enjoy watching Jordy Nelson on Sundays?

beaty might turn out good for ku. their options were pretty limited so might as well get a guy who has connections to texas recruits and try to hire some assistants to fill in the blanks.
