It should be a 12 team league w/ 14 as the absolute max. Rosters will be rough ridin' awful in a 16 team league.

I've played in 14 and 16 team leagues before. IMO, a league shouldn't go past 12.

2nd gets double and first gets the rest.

I've experimented with weekly bounties and other incentive payments to keep people motivated but it gets to be too much work

yeah this is solid. i also prefer 12 team leagues with no divisions.

i like big play and big game bonuses. and qb td passes being worth 5 or 6 rather than 4.

I like big play bonuses too. And big game bonuses are fun if they are within reason. I am in another league that has a ton of these. Most of them I think are fine (20 points for 200 yards receiving, 20 points for 200 yards rushing, 20 points for 420 yards passing) but they have a return yards one that is total bullshit (20 points for 100 total return yards). That one cost me 500 bucks last year.

i am against pretty much all return bonuses for the most part.

Yeah it's full of incentives and other various scoring weirdness (.5 ppc and ppr is one) The scores get crazy high.

I think a more conservative bonus award would be fun for our league.
