tate snyder. the american dream encapsulated within a pillar of the manhattan community.
growing up in the shadow of his world famous grandfather, LHC Bill Snyder, the greatest college football coach of all time, young tate wasn't happy riding the coat tales of his family's success. his father, an all american punter and a renowned football coach himself, let young tate find his way in the world. one won't be surprised to find out that tate, like his father, and his father's father, learned to dominate the gridiron like few before him- so much so, that he earned a scholarship at the LB position for one of the nation's premiere football programs.
never has he let any of his success in life get to his head, and while it would have been easy to take it for granted, go out partying and drinking late at night before his freshman year and get into a carwreck and leave the scene of the accident, he's not been arrested, never an issue in the classroom. it's an amazing tale of humility and perseverance.
if tate stands for tater, then so be it. because that must be pretty awesome.
