regardless of what you ultimately choose as your occupation, we're basically talking having 5-10 years to repay the equivalent of a new car. student loans are great and i get sincere satisfaction from each payment towards that investment. i don't understand the people that begrudge them.

This. I've seen people go hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt to get an education degree from a Rhodes/ND/etc. I mean, what the eff are you thinking?
