I think that’s all of them, right? When they went from being free to being FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS A YEAR (ballsy rate ask, imo), it kind of killed the thread. However, if there’s a way around it without paying, lmk

Shot from the parking garage ramps to the top, and the stair guard rail that almost qualified as obstructed view.

I'd love that because my fat ass is sick of bleacher seating.

No, students are in the section right below me, and behind the basket on the away bench side behind the band a la KU.

They’ve set it up nicely so that the ~8-10 rows of students along the sideline are at enough of a lower lever that people don’t have to stand behind them.

Leave the student area benches if that's an issue.

I’ve always thought that’d be weird in a college venue. Or make it super stale. Isn’t the Dean Dome that way?

Wichita State is all chairbacks, I'd assume all relatively new stadiums are.

Wish the Bram videoboard was this style. I can't even see ours when I'm sitting courtside.

I have to be up for work in like 5 and a half hours and have a big day tomorrow, yet here I am just cruising Google images of Indiana's Assembly Hall. Just been looking at it for at least 30 minutes because I absolutely love it. LOVE IT. It's so unlike any other. It's beautiful. Who been there?

I’ve been a handful of times, and sat all over.  I’ll see if I can find any pictures.  It’s unique, and a great CBB atmosphere. Feels a bit strange with the really tall sides and without a ton of seating behind the basket.

In 2015, I was courtside on the baseline to see Indiana beat D’Angelo Russell’s Ohio State, and about 40 feet to my left we’re Indiana celebrities John Mellencamp and Jared Fogle.

Mrs. 8mp was pretty excited to point Jared out at the time!  I think he was charged less than 6 months later

Not for game, but a couple of graduations in the family.  It doesn't take much to imagine the pressure of a crowd towering over you as those seats go straight up. Mizzou's old Hearns Center back in the day was a somewhat similar, but far lesser experience.

And of course, the mid-campus location.

Conversely, I HATE Illinois’ Assembly Hall. It suxors.

Point of order here.  The Illinois basketball arena is no longer called Assembly Hall.  Illinois sold out and their basketball arena is now called "State Farm Center".
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Construction_of_Assembly_Hall_(Champaign)

But it is a very divisive building, people usually either love it as a design and engineering work of genius (designed by UIUC alum and "starchitect" Max Abramovich) as it holds several honors for being the first in the world in several categories.  They also hate it because it offends their aesthetic sense of what a building of that type should look like.

I'm kind of with you on SFC, to me it's not the prettiest building.  But on the other hand, I respect the hell out of it because the engineering of it is pretty amazing.
