we are hosting a team building event for our baseball team this saturday. I bought some of those misters to string along the roof of my deck and a 10x10 portable canopy that'll be in the driveway. hopefully that helps BEAT THE HEAT! but probably just make it hotly moist.

September is still too hot but you get nice cool days mixed in, plus football.

Meanwhile, in the L.A. of the Plains, it was 108 the other day, and I couldn't be outside longer than 20 minutes without burning. Thankfully, there was a hot breeze to cool me off. Felt like living in a convection oven.

Yes. Been a wonderful breeze of late in SW Louisiana. I love walking through a hair dryer.
