Two Saturday's ago I happened to be in Manhattan. It was about noon I think, and I was walking out of a liquor store connected to a gas station a block away from Aggieville. I was walking with my purchase and looking down at my phone not paying attention. I nearly walked right smack into a huge black guy who had just came out of the adjoining gas station. I apologetically said "excuse me," and when I finally looked up from my phone I was staring directly at Thomas Gipson. I looked back at him before getting into my friend's car and said "Rock Chalk Jayhawk". That got no reaction from him whatsoever, not even a look. He got into his friend's car two stalls over, which I noticed was being driven by Nino Williams. The windows were down and the rap music was blaring. Both of them along with whatever random black guy was in the back seat were all rapping along. It was weird and I felt kind of awkward for them.
They were just acting really dooshy with their music and if I had not recognized them I would have been very concerned that they were about to commit a crime. I'm not saying athletes don't commit crimes, but the concern obviously goes down some when you know who they are as opposed to seeing random sketchy people.

I could probably go over to GPC and handpick some bigoted posts, but I don't feel like it. You also aren't mentioning the fact that ole ChiefRacist was admonished for his remarks.
