48 hour review:
I really rough ridin' miss the clock on the front of the cox box! WHAT TIME IS IT!?!?
I can tell a difference in the picture. It looks just slightly "soft" and seems to have more saturated colors. This is no doubt an effect of the compression. Its still plenty good enough and plenty worth it for the extra advantages.
Whole home DVR is awesome.
Internet seems fast enough. It says 12 Mbps and I get 12. Not like cox where it says 24 and I get 6-18. Upload is way WAY slower than cox, about 1 Mbps, but I am more of a consumer than a generator so no big deal to me.
I did notice with one other TV, the dvr, and the wife blazing through pinterest, Netflix on the big tv would periodically pop out of super HD. This might be my smart TV's dumb wireless connection though, so more testing in required.
lots of channels and lots of HD channels. way more sensible channel packages than cox if you get the U200 compared to the cox equivalent. Cox making you choose the channel tiers always pissed me off.
The channel guide is faster and more useful than cox's.
I'm probably going to keep the uverse for the 12 months promotional price at least.
