Once Memorial Stadium is upgraded, and the team starts winning, the gap will just continue to widen even further.
We are coming off a championship season and extreme renovations........you won one game and still have a shitty stadium.

Gap widens even further? Delusional.
Yeah if the gap widens any further, we'll be national champs (titletown^2) and they'll be 0'fer. As much fun as TSCing is, I'd take the wider gap too.

KU has two of the top five in-state prospects.  K-State has none.  We are dominating you guys in recruiting, even after going 1-11 last year.  Let that sink in for a minute.
When State is bigger, faster, and stronger than U at virtually every position on the field, then you know State has out-recruited U for years. This year will be no different.
I once blew clove smoke in a guy's face that cut in front of me in the line to KJ's.

The instate recruiting argument is ridiculous. It's like saying "I get more ugly girl's phone numbers". the KSHAA has some of the strictest practice rules in the country. As a result Kansas has some of the shittiest high school athletes in the country. I would take 1 kid from Oklahoma or Texas over half a dozen from Kansas.

Do 'taters realize there's a difference between player development and recruiting?  Turner Gill wasted two years of player development and KU is trying to play catch up.  Has absolutely nothing to do with recruiting, though.

How many farm humps do you think it took for Kevin Lockett to produce Tyler?

You realize Charlie had what, two years, to develop Crist? And that DE(TE?) That he lured to KU after he had graduated from ND.  Boy those guys sure were studs thanks to all that development they received from the Weis regime...

so i really don't think we will win five titles while sharp is here (wishful thinking imo) but what do you guys think? setting the over/under at 2.5 titles. i mean this is big12 football and given the history, there are a legitimate 8 teams (not isu or ku) that could win this thing any year. even two would be good imo. thoughts?
WUT?  You're not counting the NC's. :horrorsurprise:

Hmmm (need thoughtful chin scratching emoticon), would 2.5 be one shared title? That might be about right. Does Sharp win as many conference titles and the Jayhawks win conference games during his four-five year in Manhattan?
Don't make that comparison; we don't want to go on a two yr. dry spell.  :fatty:

Gill did out-recruit K-State.  Never said he was building a monster.  That would be Bill Self.

one coach recruited a team that won the big12 and almost played in the national championship game and the other coach recruited a team that couldn't win a single conference game.

Snyder didn't recruit Collin Klein and several other studs on K-State's roster, plus we've already discussed the whole player development vs. recruiting thing.  Next.
