Guys, tim didn't want me to share this with anyone, but I made an executive decision. I'm sure everyone has been wondering why he's been spending so much time here. Well he's been PM'ing me asking me what he should do to convert to being EMAW. I told him just start being a winner all day everyday and it will overcome you. Anyone else have any suggestions for our friend tim?
haha, I would never convert to a full time EMAW, I'm a jayhawk for life. although I do root for KSU often and not openly in public, but I'm still happy if they lose. btw, I know KSU fans hate KU as their bitter rival but KU fans see Kstate as more of a friendly instate rival. KU fans HATE mizzou.....they are our true rival because there was actual bloodshed way back in the day.
yeah. nobody here hates ku fans. we almost made beems a mod a couple of months ago. sorry you cheer for us to lose though. i'd never wish that on a fellow kansan. oh well. go cats.
lol re-read my post. I said I root for ksu but I'm just as happy when they lose. and you guys want KU to lose all the time.
serious question here since you don't hate KU: if you don't see KU as your rival, who is the one team/fan base you hate? is it texas maybe?
look man, i don't know you and you don't know me. all i can tell you is that most of the people here want all kansas teams to win 24/7. to me (just me) it's weird that you get some kind of perverse happiness out of kstate losing. that's just me though and i really try hard not to judge. sorry again to be so hard on you but i really just don't get the whole being "happy when another team loses thing". maybe you could try to explain what you "get out of it" for me.
so are you telling me that when KU played for the title in 2012 you were actually rooting for them to win?
absolutely. i mean we have ten percent or maybe a little more of complete dumbass posters here that probably didn't want ku to do well, but the vast majority of us here are pretty proud of the state that we went to college in even though most of us are from out of state (chicago here).
anyway... point is that we like kansas and minus the complete idiots, we like it when wichita state makes it to the final four like they did last year or when ku makes it to the final four like they did a few years ago, as well. it's "cool".
