Lawrence has solid chicken strip options at tons of places, including Jefferson's, Henry T's, Chili's, 23rd St. Brewery, and Yacht Club.  I used to split the chicken strip bucket at Henry T's back in the day (bucket of about 10-12 chicken strips on top of waffle fries) with a friend or two.  Best chicken strip meal you will ever taste.


 

beems is right about henry t's though. their strip/waffle fry combo beats anything chicken strip wise in mhk- good call beems. as for yacht club-gmafb. jeffersons- hit or miss but usually good drink specials and sitting outside with decent weather was always great. 23rd st-fine i guess.

you know who has some pretty decent strips in mhk though? houlihans. also the country club used to, but last year they jerked everybody over big time and switched to some kind of sponge like strip. rumor has it the good ones are back but buyer def beware.

Slightly OT, but I loved the Fat Tuesday burger at Henry T's. Sweet and spicy...

i used to have an app that had all the drink specials, but i don't remember what it was called.  don't think there was food specials though.

Welp, looks like a trip to Manhattan for some Houlihans chicken strips might be in the works next time I'm in Kansas.

i'm still chuckling to myself that you actually tried to bring up the yacht club as an actual eating establishment. 

Don't even try to knock Yacht Club when your guys' best suggestion for Manhattan chicken strips was rough ridin' DQ.

the Henry T's strip/ waffle fry bucket is pretty good. The Topeka one was a block or two away from my house in undergrad, my roommate and I spent a bit of time there.

A friend of mine used to run a website called "wildcat menus" several years ago. I'm not sure what happened to that.
