This analysis is absolutely accurate.I for one...in Section 21.....was shittin' bricks during the last few minutes of the GSU game. Now......this not an excuse, rather an important factor during the 2012 playoff run.........2 of the Bison's top 3 defensive players did not play at all during the playoffs. One of these guys made 15 tackles in the 2011 playoff game vs GSU. That same game, NDSU held GSU to 186 yards rushing with a 3.9 yards per carry average. Just a few weeks earlier eventual BCS champion Alabama allowed 302 rushing yards to the Eagles at a 7.7 yards per carry average.

Pardon me, Skippy. But if you re-read the post, you'll see that I posted the rushing results from the 2011 playoff game when the Bison hammered GSU.That was the year that they had impressive stats vs. Alabama's scrubs.
in the end, EMAW will always win.
