Guys, one of my bestest little ku buddies told me that Bill Self personally demonstrates the over-the-top lob play, literally catching the ball 1 foot outside of the glass with both hands and then slams it home with utmost authority.
He then struts off telling his minions that's how it's done and this his personal, full speed demonstration of the play is the only effective teaching method.
I also understand his participation in full speed, live contact rebounding drills leaves ku players bloody and torn, but better players and better people.
